We're looking for a Security Services Manager to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-value, high-impact security and compliance services to our Oracle Cloud customers. You'll leverage your experience in customer-facing roles and your knowledge of cybersecurity controls, especially within cloud technology, to ensure our clients' success in the cloud. This is a great opportunity to make a real difference for businesses migrating to or already using Oracle Cloud.


What will you do:


Responsibilities include but not limited to


  • Act as internal coordinator and assist with deployment and ongoing management of a number of Enhanced Security Services for example (but not limited to)

    • Threat & vulnerability management, such as vulnerability scanning & penetration tests

    • Database security solutions such as Encryption, Vaulting and Auditing

    • Data obfuscation solutions such as Data masking & Data Redaction

    • Application layer security assessments and secure configuration best practices

  • Raise service requests, create tickets etc. to relevant teams on behalf of security service delivery team

  • Collaborate & partner with Security Service Managers & Technical Account Managers in North America & Latin America to facilitate delivery of obligated security services to customers

  • Develop high quality customer facing security services metrics & templates, comprehensive quarterly security service review decks; based on inputs from management & SSMs

  • Assist in enhancing reporting tools such as Oracle APEX, Confluence etc. to meet internal reporting & tracking needs

  • Work closely with cross-functional internal teams, build relationship with service owners, cloud infrastructure engineers, risk management organization to facilitate timely vulnerability remediation

  • Keep abreast of evolving security services within Oracle’s Managed Security Services space by taking relevant training, participating in workshops etc.

  • Create & maintain up to date customer, service status & contract information pertaining to security services in relevant reporting portals, applications etc.

  • Work closely with Oracle’s Technical Account Managers (TAMs) to assist them in driving remediation of security vulnerabilities in customer tenancy


Required Skills


  • Intermediate to Expert level hands-on experience in Oracle APEX & Atlassian’s Confluence. Should be able to manage application portals to generate & enhance reporting requirements

  • Experience in scripting languages such as python, MS Power point & Excel Macros. Should be able to generate high quality customer facing MS powerpoint decks

  • Intermediate to expert level knowledge of Cloud Computing

  • Knowledge of Oracle Linux such as basic navigation, security patch analysis, security best practice configuration

  • Knowledge of Windows server such as common vulnerabilities, configuration weaknesses & security best practices

  • Knowledge of scanning tools such as Nessus, Qualys etc. or other such. Ability to interpret scan data, findings severity, CVSS score etc.

  • Excellent team collaboration skills


Preferred Skills


  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure security concepts and configuration

  • Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Middleware security best practices, API & web security, OWASP Top 10 and associated controls etc.

  • Knowledge of one or more industry best practice standards & framework such as CIS, NIST, STIG, PCI DSS, HIPAA & 21 Part 11

  • Project management skills

  • Possessing current Oracle Cloud Infrastructure certifications

  • Relevant Security & technology certifications

  • Able to read and understand service contracts and associated entitlements & obligations
