Remote Amazon Product Reviewer information

What is a remote Amazon product reviewer?

Remote Amazon Product Reviewers are individuals who evaluate and write reviews for products sold on Amazon from a remote location, typically their home. Their main responsibility is to provide honest feedback based on their experience with the product, which helps other customers make informed purchasing decisions. Some reviewers are sent products for free or at a discount in exchange for their reviews, while others review products they have purchased themselves. It's important for reviewers to follow Amazon's guidelines to ensure that their reviews are unbiased and compliant with the platform's rules.

What skills and qualifications are needed to be a remote Amazon product reviewer?

To thrive as a Remote Amazon Product Reviewer, you need strong written communication, attention to detail, and a good understanding of e-commerce platforms, typically with prior experience in product reviewing or content creation. Familiarity with Amazon's review guidelines, basic photo editing tools, and spreadsheet software is often required. Reliability, honesty, and the ability to provide constructive feedback are essential soft skills for this role. These skills ensure reviews are helpful, trustworthy, and compliant, which supports consumer decision-making and maintains credibility with both Amazon and product manufacturers.

What are common challenges faced by remote Amazon product reviewers, and how can they be addressed?

Remote Amazon Product Reviewers often face challenges such as meeting tight deadlines, maintaining objectivity, and adhering to Amazon’s strict review guidelines. To overcome these, it’s important to develop strong time management skills, carefully document your experiences with each product, and stay updated on Amazon’s policies. Collaborating with other reviewers or a project manager can also help clarify expectations and ensure compliance with ethical standards. Establishing a consistent routine for testing and evaluating products will contribute to more accurate and reliable reviews.

All new thinkers are welcome. We are looking for candidates who want to develop, grow, and dare to think new. Innovation is an important part of our DNA. If you appreciate an environment where you get to think new and constantly evolve, you will thrive here.

Join Our Team as a Product and Applications Specialist at Epiroc!

The Product and Applications Specialist provides deep product and application expertise to Epiroc's sales teams, dealers, distributors, and customers within the Attachments business in North America. This role supports the commercial organization by helping translate technical product details into practical field guidance, ensuring the right attachment is matched to the right application and that customers understand the product's capabilities, limitations, and value.

This position works closely with the sales team in the field to answer application-specific questions, support product selection, assist with demonstrations or trials, and help facilitate product and application training. The role is not intended to perform hands-on service or repair work, but rather to serve as the technical resource for product fit, application requirements, operating considerations, field feedback, and continuous improvement.

Work Type: This remote position is open to U.S.-based candidates. This role is not eligible for immigration or work visa sponsorship.

Work Environment

This is a field-oriented role with significant time spent in market alongside sales teams, dealers, distributors, and customers. Travel is typically 40-60 percent across the region for customer visits, dealer/distributor support, product demonstrations, trials, training, industry events, and Product Company interaction, with a mix of day trips and regular overnights. Administrative work, planning, reporting, and training preparation are completed from a home office with reliable internet or an assigned Epiroc location.

Work occurs in industrial and construction environments such as active jobsites, yards, warehouses, dealer/distributor locations, customer facilities, and offices, and requires adherence to all company, customer, and site-specific safety rules. The role involves frequent driving and the ability to navigate jobsites, including walking, stairs, and uneven terrain. Occasional handling of tools, product components, or demo materials may be required; PPE such as safety boots, eye and ear protection, a hard hat, gloves, and high-visibility apparel is used as needed.

Responsibilities:

Field Sales & Application Support

  • Serve as the technical and application expert for assigned Epiroc attachment products, applications, and market segments.
  • Work with the sales team in the field to support dealer, distributor, and customer opportunities.
  • Provide application guidance to help ensure the right attachment is matched to the right carrier, jobsite condition, and customer need.
  • Answer product and application-specific questions related to equipment capabilities, limitations, operating considerations, and product fit.
  • Support product demonstrations, trials, and proof-of-concept activities by providing technical and application expertise.
  • Assist with customer discussions where deeper product knowledge is needed to support confidence in the recommended solution.
  • Provide technical input during the sales process to help support customer satisfaction, product performance, and long-term success.

Dealer, Distributor & Customer Training

  • Help facilitate and deliver product and application training for sales teams, dealers, distributors, and customers.
  • Support the development of training content related to product features, applications, operating considerations, product selection, and common field questions.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Product Support to ensure training materials are accurate, practical, and aligned with business needs.
  • Help ensure dealers and distributors have the product knowledge and tools needed to represent Epiroc attachments effectively in the market.
  • Provide field-based coaching and support to strengthen product confidence across the sales and dealer/distributor network.

Product Expertise, Market Feedback & Continuous Improvement

  • Collect and communicate field feedback from sales teams, dealers, distributors, and customers related to product performance, customer needs, application trends, and competitive activity.
  • Identify recurring product questions, application challenges, or customer concerns and share insights with appropriate internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Product Companies, Product Support, and Field Service to support issue review, escalation, and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in new product introduction and launch activities, including field input, product validation, training, and voice-of-customer feedback.
  • Research competitive products and provide input on performance, range, capabilities, positioning, and market trends.
  • Support efforts to improve product reliability, usability, documentation, training, and customer satisfaction.

Product Positioning & Commercial Support

  • Help translate technical product details into practical selling points, application guidance, and customer value.
  • Support the sales organization with product positioning, value messaging, and application-specific recommendations.
  • Develop or support case studies, application examples, competitive comparisons, and other tools that demonstrate product value in the field.
  • Partner with Marketing Communications, Product Management, and Sales to support product materials, technical documentation, sales tools, and product specifications.
  • Provide technical and application input to support strategic opportunities, product launches, dealer/distributor activity, trade shows, and customer events.

Documentation, Process & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate documentation of field activity, customer feedback, dealer/distributor feedback, product performance, and technical support activity in applicable systems.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of product guides, application references, training materials, playbooks, and knowledge-base content.
  • Follow established processes for demos, trials, training, issue escalation, and field feedback.
  • Ensure field activities are performed safely and in compliance with company, customer, dealer/distributor, and site-specific requirements.
  • Maintain required safety certifications and comply with PPE requirements and applicable site rules.

Knowledge/Education:

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant technical experience preferred; equivalent combination of field, product, application, attachments, or equipment experience may be considered.
  • Experience with attachments, capital equipment, construction equipment, industrial equipment, rental channels, dealers, or distributors preferred.
  • Strong mechanical and technical aptitude, with the ability to understand product capabilities, limitations, application fit, and operating considerations.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly, including domestic travel and occasional international travel, based on business needs.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience supporting product demonstrations, application training, customer discussions, or field-based sales support preferred.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Aftermarket, Product Support, Field Service, and Product Companies.
