Providence Mental Therapy Session Center is seeking a dedicated and flexible Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team on a full-time basis. As a member of our community health clinic, you will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to improving the mental health and well-being of children and adolescents. • Conduct individual therapy sessions with clients, either in the comfort of their homes or through telehealth platforms, ensuring a personalized and supportive approach.
• Implement effective therapeutic strategies focusing on anger management, coping skills, and social skills development, while actively working to mitigate high-risk behaviors such as self-injury or aggression.
• Enhance the decision-making capabilities of both adolescents and their caregivers, enabling them to more effectively manage behavioral challenges within their home environments.
• Collaborate consistently and effectively with the Child Family Treatment Team and other specialists, sharing insights and recommendations to ensure a cohesive support system for our clients.
• Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports, in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in monthly team meetings, offering constructive feedback and staying updated on latest practices and protocols.

Your primary focus will be serving children aged 3 to 20, particularly those facing intellectual and developmental disabilities. • A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field is required.
• An active and unrestricted LMFT license in Oregon is essential.
• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours weekly during after-school hours (4-7 PM), with flexibility for weekend sessions being a significant advantage.
• A strong background in providing positive behavior support to children is mandatory.
• Experience working with children and adolescents, especially those with intellectual/developmental disabilities, is highly preferred.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle for travel to client homes is necessary.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting, is required prior to employment.

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is highly desired, enhancing your ability to connect with a diverse client base.
• Experience utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques and frameworks to achieve active engagement with youth.
