Job description

Job Responsibilities Careers at DPH: Work that makes a difference. Embracing Service, Inspiring Innovation, Promoting Teamwork, Pursuing Excellence, and Advancing Equity Under limited supervision of the Best Chance Network Program Director functions as a statewide data systems manager with responsibility for planning, managing and implementing the Best Chance Network (BCN) and WISEWOMAN programs data tracking and reporting activities, as well as assuring quality and complete timely follow-up data for the programs. This position will require the use and knowledge of the Med-lT system and work with Protected Health Information (PHI).

* Manages the Med-lT data system and ensures data management protocols and procedures to ensure state, federal and program guidelines, standards, objectives and reporting requirements are met. Ensures grant applications and reporting guidelines are met. 2.

Maintains data systems for measurement and use of patient and health systems data. Works with system provider to ensure functionality of the system. Troubleshoots and resolves system issues, provides system updates and edits to ensure proper data collection and storage.

* Assists with monitoring effectiveness and implementation of interventions by creating queries utilizing program and other data provision and analysis based on program data. Interprets the information and providers reports of Division and others, both orally and in writing. Provide 10 - 15 hours of dedicated training and technical support to the WiseWoman Data Manager monthly.

* Collaborates and coordinates with internal and external partners to ensure effective coordination and use of data, forecasting and reporting. * Provides education and technical assistance to employees within the division and contracted health care providers across the state. Assist in workforce development by training graduate assistants in data management.

Conducts Med-lt training. * Performs other duties as assigned related to the position. Minimum and Additional Requirements State Minimum Requirements: A bachelor's degree and professional experience as a planner, researcher or statistician.A master's degree in statistics or a related discipline may be substituted for the required work experience
