Though the primary work setting is remote, some responsibilities may involve in-office consultations or home visit services as needed.

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and formulate mental health diagnoses to develop tailored treatment plans for each patient.
• Implement short-term counseling methods using appropriate therapeutic modalities, focusing on issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, grief/loss, addiction, domestic violence, and psychosocial stressors.
• Provide essential case management services for patients, ensuring a supportive environment as they navigate their therapeutic journey.
• Work collaboratively with fellow team members to assist in crisis intervention, which includes assessment, de-escalation techniques, and engaging emergency mental health services as necessary.
• Carry out follow-up assessments and develop prevention strategies post-crisis, ensuring that clients receive ongoing support and connections to outside agencies when indicated.
• Engage in regular consultation and collaboration with other healthcare providers and treatment teams to align on patient care strategies.

As a Mental Health Therapist at Sierra Mental Health Therapy, you will work with a diverse client population, offering support and treatment to individuals and families facing various mental health challenges. Your expertise will play a crucial role in addressing immediate issues while fostering long-term healing and resilience among clients. • A Master’s Degree in behavioral science or a closely related field.
• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience providing mental health services as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
• Current, active licensure in social work, counseling, or marriage and family therapy.
• Demonstrated clinical skills supporting individuals, families, and groups in mental health settings.
• Thorough knowledge of mental health diagnoses and effective treatment approaches.
• A valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation, insured and compliant with legal requirements, particularly for potential home visits.

• Additional certification in trauma-informed care or other therapeutic modalities is a plus.
• Experience with case management and integrated care models is highly desirable.
• Previous work in a remote or hybrid therapy setting is advantageous.

• Annual salary range of USD 120,000 to 130,000.
