Position Overview

Psychodynamic Family Group Therapy, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team on a full-time basis. This remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your home while providing meaningful support to clients in an outpatient setting. As a vital member of our clinical team, you will play a crucial role in the mental health and wellbeing of seniors by conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and facilitating therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Evaluations: Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to identify individual mental health needs and formulate systematic treatment plans.
  • Individual Counseling: Deliver tailored individual therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques designed to address a wide range of emotional and psychological issues.
  • Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead therapeutic group sessions, creating safe spaces for clients to express their feelings and share their experiences concerning common challenges, such as grief and adjustment.
  • Develop Treatment Plans: Collaborate with clients to establish personalized treatment objectives, regularly reviewing and adjusting plans to ensure they meet changing needs and goals.
  • Maintain Clinical Records: Accurately document client sessions, treatment progress, and any alterations to treatment strategies in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily involves supporting senior clients who are facing various mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, loss, and adjustments related to aging. Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
  • A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license.

  • Experience working specifically with the elderly population and familiarity with the unique mental health challenges they face.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $105,000 per year along with an attractive sign-on bonus.
