As the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, you will be responsible for managing our key customer relationships and for expanding ZTR's reach Globally and within North America towards our targeted markets with respect to leading the global product market.


As a leader, you'll be providing inspiring and charismatic leadership for your respective teams, as well as cross collaborating with others to reach our company mission and objectives.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:


Leadership

  • Develop the marketing DNA of ZTR by developing the market vision and strategies and all associated implementations
  • Foster relationships with key customers in a global space
  • Implement, execute and maintain sales processes designed to achieve and accelerate growth
  • Oversee sales plans, marketing, profit and loss estimations and budgets, based on market demand and corporate goals
  • Own and revise, and implement an effective sales management process
  • Prepare and implement an effective organizational structure to drive effective execution of initiatives
  • Display leadership posture and decision-making skills to lead the Commercial team with confidence
  • Provide guidance, training and mentorship to the Commercial team
  • Symbiotic and synergistic relationship with all other departments within ZTR
  • Presenting sales achievements, forecasts, pipelines and updates to the President & executive team


Strategy

  • Overseeing the objectives and implementation of all commercial strategies
  • Identifying new business opportunities for further growth
  • Create analysis of activity to develop the most effective business plans and realistic and meaningful KPIs
  • Participate in strategic planning and collaborating with other departments
  • Present the strategic positioning of the ZTR portfolio to customers, partners, and market influencers


Business Development

  • Study industry trends and create an effective business plan based on commercial opportunities, while ensuring they are in line with organization's objectives
  • Become ZTR's subject-matter-expert towards services, products and how clients and customers use them
  • Collaborating with the Product Marketing to create effective marketing collateral and translating solutions for market
  • Participate and lead in global expansions activities i.e. "C" - level customer meetings, industry trade shows, and other various marketing endeavors and campaigns


Who you are:

  • 10+ years of experience as a senior sales professional
  • 10+ years in a sales managerial related role, preferably selling to the Freight Railway industry experience is an asset
  • SaaS and services experience is an asset
  • Technically savvy with previous experience in Railway, Industrial Engineered Solutions or hard Products (i.e. Control Systems Solutions)
  • Proven ability to generate sales leads and leverage existing relationships
  • Experienced in managing agents or manufacturing representatives
  • Demonstrated charismatic leadership and coaching ability, collaborative spirit
  • Established strategic sales planning and execution experience for Commercial teams
  • Data-driven with strong analytical and quantitative skills as well as attention to detail
  • Skilled in delivering technical sales presentations to all levels of stakeholders
  • Drive and interest in travelling internationally
