As a Senior Analyst, Analytics engineering , you'll enable our analytics community to get the most out of our data. You'll support analysts of varying levels of scope and experience by building, maintaining, and governing a data warehouse of operational and financial data.

You'll keep us on the cutting edge of AI-driven analytics by partnering with Data Ops to develop a semantic layer and various agents to facilitate faster, better, and more interpretable insights. We're seeking someone based near one of the following cities: San Francisco, Salt Lake City, Chicago, or New York City.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and maintain data models in Snowflake with dbt Design and build a testing and alerting framework to improve data quality Create data governance/democratization policies to support the broader analyst community Design and build a self-service analytics AI framework, including both the semantic modeling and tooling architecture Partner with Data Engineering to optimize data staging in Snowflake QUALIFICATIONS 4+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or data science A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics , or another quantitative field Advanced SQL knowledge (experience with dbt is a plus) Moderate Python knowledge ( JavaScript knowledge is a plus) Experience building complex data pipelines using engineering best practices in platforms like Airflow or Prefect Strong organizational discipline and quality assurance skills PERKS & BENEFITS We offer Gongsters a variety of medical, dental, and vision plans, designed to fit you and your family's needs.

Work from home stipend to help you succeed in a remote environment. The annual salary hiring range for this position is $120,000 - $145,000 USD. Compensation is based on factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, qualification, education, experience, and location. At Gong, we have a location-based compensation structure, which means there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.

The total compensation package for this position, in addition to base compensation, may include incentive compensation, bonus, equity, and benefits. Some of our sales compensation programs also offer the potential to achieve above targeted earnings for those who exceed their sales targets.
