Professional Search Group OC is partnering with a growing international logistics client in Cypress, CA to identify an experienced International Air Export Coordinator. This opportunity is ideal for someone with air freight forwarding experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands export compliance and international shipping processes.


Professional Search Group OC is looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple shipments simultaneously while maintaining compliance and service excellence.


International Air Export Coordinator Responsibilities

  • Coordinate international air export shipments from booking through final delivery.
  • Prepare and process export documentation including MAWB/HAWB, commercial invoices, packing lists, and shipping instructions.
  • Manage bookings with airlines, consolidators, truckers, warehouses, and overseas agents.
  • Ensure compliance with AES filings, EAR, OFAC, and destination-specific export requirements.
  • Track shipment milestones and provide timely updates to customers and internal teams.
  • Review shipping details for accuracy, including Incoterms, routing, and commodity descriptions.
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve shipment issues, and support daily operational needs.
  • Enter shipment details, vendor costs, and billing information into the system accurately.
  • Assist with invoice review, job costing, and file closeout.


International Air Export Coordinator Qualifications

  • 3+ years of air export freight forwarding experience.
  • Experience with Cargowise a plus
  • Experience in leadership or managing a team a plus
  • Strong knowledge of air export documentation and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with AES filings, Incoterms, and international shipping regulations.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple shipments in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Freight forwarding software experience preferred.
