What does a remote Air Force helicopter pilot do?

A Remote Air Force Helicopter Pilot operates military helicopters from a distance, typically using advanced remote piloting technology. Their responsibilities include conducting reconnaissance missions, surveillance, search and rescue operations, and tactical support, all while piloting the aircraft remotely from a secure location. These pilots must be highly trained in both aviation and remote control systems, often coordinating closely with ground teams and other aircraft to accomplish their missions. The role requires strong decision-making skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate in high-pressure environments.
