• Conduct in-depth assessments and screenings during initial consultations to accurately evaluate clients' mental health needs and concerns.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that align with each client's individual goals and challenges, conducting regular evaluations to track progress.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to foster positive outcomes.
• Engage in collaborative care by working closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to develop comprehensive treatment strategies.
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, emphasizing the importance of family support in the recovery process and offering strategies for effective communication.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, adhering to all ethical and legal standards while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

You will work with a diverse clientele encompassing various cultural backgrounds, age groups, and mental health issues. This role provides a unique opportunity to enhance your cultural competence, as you will support individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and other mental health disorders.

• A current and valid mental health license, such as LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, or Doctor of Psychology.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated training or significant experience in mental health counseling, showcasing a thorough understanding of therapeutic interventions.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices pertaining to various mental health disorders, enabling effective therapy methodologies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building rapport and trust with clients and team members.
• A compassionate and client-centered approach to therapy, motivating clients to engage actively in their recovery journey.

• Prior experience in telehealth or remote counseling settings, comfortably utilizing technology to conduct therapy sessions.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and case management.
• Experience working in community mental health or outpatient settings, addressing a variety of mental health concerns.
