Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and evaluations to accurately determine clients’ mental health status and individual needs.
• Develop, implement, and continuously adjust personalized treatment plans that align with clients’ goals and therapeutic needs.
• Provide engaging and effective individual therapy for adult clients, utilizing evidence-based practices and solution-focused modalities that contribute to positive therapeutic outcomes.
• Utilize teletherapy platforms to deliver remote therapy sessions, ensuring quality care is accessible regardless of geographic limitations.
• Skillfully provide crisis intervention services when necessary, supporting clients through difficult situations with empathy and expert guidance.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, participating in training and workshops to stay current with best practices and evolving mental health standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role as a Mental Health Counselor, you will work primarily with adult clients facing a range of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma-related conditions. Our clientele is diverse, providing you with the opportunity to tailor your therapeutic approach to meet varied cultural and individual needs, thereby enriching your professional practice and contributing to their healing journey.

Qualifications

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.
• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is mandatory.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential for establishing rapport with clients and facilitating productive therapeutic relationships.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities to effectively manage client schedules and documentation requirements.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience in a community health clinic or similar environment can enhance your ability to serve our diverse clientele. Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and best practices in virtual therapy delivery is highly regarded, as this role is dedicated to providing accessible remote mental health services.
