Job description

Job Responsibilities The EMS Adjunct Professor plays a crucial role in training and education future EMTs, Advanced EMTs, and/or Paramedics. You will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction, facilitating simulations, and skills training. This position may assist across all EMS training levels.

Other responsibilities include: Fostering an interactive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking. Ensure students understand and adhere to best practices and patient safety. Collaborate with other EMS faculty to develop, update, or enhance course materials and curriculum to align with industry standards and best practices.

Assist in high-fidelity simulations. All other duties assigned. Midlands Technical College is dedicated to providing excellent service to its students, employees, and the community.

This position is located on the Midlands Technical College Airport Campus Minimum and Additional Requirements SC certified EMT, National Registered EMT. Three (3) years of experience in prehospital healthcare. Preferred Qualifications SC certified paramedic.

NREMT Paramedic. Prior EMS instructional experience. Associates degree.
