You will be part of a collaborative mental health team, engaging in regular virtual meetings and utilizing telehealth platforms to connect with clients and coordinate care. • Conduct thorough mental health evaluations for clients, taking into account their personal history, substance use backgrounds, and current psychological issues to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-focused therapy, to address mental health concerns and promote recovery.
• Facilitate both one-on-one and group therapy sessions aiming to enhance emotional regulation, coping strategies, and personal development among clients.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and addiction specialists, to create comprehensive treatment strategies.
• Deliver crisis intervention and immediate mental health support as needed, ensuring clients receive prompt and effective care in urgent situations.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR), documenting patient progress, treatment plans, and communications to ensure a seamless flow of information.

You will primarily serve individuals in a detox center who are grappling with substance use disorders alongside any co-occurring mental health conditions. This population often faces complex challenges that require a compassionate, trauma-informed approach, and your expertise will be critical in helping them gain stability and hope as they work towards recovery.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, with a preference for applicants who have worked in mental health or addiction settings.
• Proficiency in mental health assessment, diagnosis, and development of treatment plans.
• Experience in administering both individual and group therapy, utilizing various therapeutic modalities.
• Strong crisis intervention skills; ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering trust and rapport with diverse clients.
• Understanding of EHR systems and strong computer skills are essential.

• Experience in a remote or telehealth capacity, familiar with the tools and platforms for virtual therapy.

• Knowledge of community resources for substance abuse and mental health support services.
