• Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions with assigned clients to address symptoms of major mental illness and severe emotional disorders.
• Engage in collaborative treatment planning, developing and implementing integrated care plans that ensure comprehensive support for clients and their families.
• Carry a diverse caseload, conducting thorough assessments, ongoing evaluations, and adapting treatment strategies to meet the evolving needs of your clients.
• Participate in crisis intervention efforts, providing immediate support and effective strategies to manage acute situations as they arise.
• Monitor client engagement in treatment, ensuring adherence to admission, continued stay, and discharge criteria while facilitating smooth transitions between services.
• Complete timely documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans to maintain compliance with regulatory standards and enhance service delivery.
• Actively participate in team meetings and committees aimed at improving the quality of services provided by Pro Light Life Counseling Services.
• Identify any unsafe situations or concerns regarding client welfare and report them following established protocols to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
• Engage in community outreach efforts, building relationships with local resources and advocating for clients’ needs both within and outside the organization.
• Stay informed about best practices in social work and mental health treatment, ensuring the application of evidence-based approaches in client care.

You will primarily work with clients experiencing significant psychological distress or serious mental health issues, many of whom may come from diverse backgrounds and face unique challenges. Your role will be crucial in helping clients navigate their mental health journeys, ensuring they feel valued, understood, and supported. Your understanding of cultural competencies and keen interpersonal skills will be vital in building rapport and trust.

• Valid license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience, preferably within a mental health or healthcare setting.
• Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field; Master's degree is preferred.
• Proficient in crisis intervention techniques and familiar with evidence-based practices in therapeutic modalities.
• Strong communication skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting.

• Experience working in hospice care or with terminally ill patients would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate and efficient documentation.
• Knowledge of community resources and services available to under-served populations.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
