• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans that may include crisis intervention strategies, behavioral guidelines, and medication treatment plans.
• Ensure prompt and accurate completion of documentation to meet all regulatory standards and facilitate best practices within the clinic.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools as directed by the clinical team to ensure efficient evaluations of patient needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement effective positive behavior support plans.
• Actively engage in licensing and accreditation processes essential for maintaining clinical operations.
• Serve as a liaison to various service systems, state agencies, and community partners, enhancing service delivery and patient outcomes.
• Establish and nurture open lines of communication to meet contract standards while promoting the mission of South Coast Medical Clinic within the broader community.
• Build strategic relationships with local, state, and federal agencies to expand outreach and secure new alliances, partnerships, and funding sources.
• Strive for continuous personal and professional development through attendance at conferences, workshops, and other educational opportunities.
• Embody and promote the values and principles of our agency in all interactions.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by the Clinic Director to support organizational efficacy.

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will work with a diverse array of clients who are seeking assistance for mental health issues, substance use disorders, and related challenges. • A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is required.
• An active, independent LMHC license is mandatory for this role.
