• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, various treatment options, and strategies for self-care, fostering a sense of empowerment and understanding.
• Monitor and document client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to accommodate changing needs and ensuring optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals during integrated care sessions, enhancing the overall support and recovery process for clients.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by staying informed about the latest research and treatment methodologies within the field of mood disorders.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Somervell Consulting Clinic, you will work with a diverse client population that includes individuals and families experiencing a range of challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. • A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is mandatory.
