Develops and implements effective and creative presentations and designs that meet organizational objectives using a variety of digital design and presentation development applications, techniques and tools. Designs and creates high end marketing collateral that can be translated to multi-media channels including video, print, social media and online.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Concepts, develops and implements creative solutions for a variety of projects including organization videos, presentations, marketing campaigns (both traditional and print), infographics and online tools, while maintaining and ensuring visual design consistency. Translates and adapts work to fit across multiple medias.

  • Develops mockups and prototypes from product specifications and user flows, collaborating with customers to develop creative, appropriate design approaches. Provide customers with site maintenance assistance and revisions.

  • PowerPoint Presentation Design: Design and develop presentations and visual communication materials using PowerPoint, supplemented by Word and Adobe Creative Suite. Develop visual assets, including graphics, infographics, icons and sourcing images, to effectively communicate key messages and data points ensuring clarity, visual appeal, and effective communication of key messages. Conveying data through multimedia elements, such as charts, graphs, maps, tables, text and audio.

  • Quality Assurance: Review presentation materials for accuracy, consistency, adherence to brand standards and overall visual quality.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with the creative team, leaders, marketing, communications, and other departments to gather content and ensure presentations align with organizational goals.

  • Brand & Design Standards: Support and maintain presentation and document design standards in alignment with enterprise brand guidelines.

  • Creative Services Support: Provide design support for presentations, reports, internal communications and other visual materials as needed to support organizational priorities.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather input, clarity, and refine presentation materials.

  • Works creatively within the brand architecture. Ensures that all designs and presentations are aligned with Advocate Health's visual identity and branding guidelines.

  • Develops printed collateral including brochures, posters, flyers, banners, tradeshow materials, and PowerPoint presentations. Incorporates photography and video into design work to create a modern, trend-aware design style with a high-end aesthetic appearance.

  • Develops effective, creative, advanced on-screen presentations that meet customer and organizational needs. Collaborates with customers to produce creative presentations-considering development for online educational/informational purposes as well, when appropriate.

  • Identifies presentation objectives, target audience, equipment to be used for presentation and interpret data for translation into graphic communication and produces presentations reflecting that information.

  • Produces and presents creative concepts and designs to cross-functional teams throughout the system.


Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

  • None Required.

Education Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field.

Experience Required:

  • Typically requires 3 years of experience in supporting design, visual arts and digital design.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Experience in concepting for print, web and broadcast/interactive mediums, creating designs that are visually inviting, functional, dynamic, effective, and capable of maintaining the brand image.

  • Solid understanding of marketing principals, advertising, public relations and design. Experience developing creative designs for a variety of audiences and media types, including online and offline media.

  • Ability to collaborate with others, work independently and stay on top of trends within healthcare and globally.

  • Strong computer skills including PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, Apple Keynote, CSS, HTML, JavaScript knowledge.

  • Understanding of video editing, 3D animation and photography.

  • Proven expertise in developing creative designs for a variety of audiences and media types, which includes both online and offline media.

  • Proven expertise in visual communication, including technical aspects of design, layout, color, and typography.

  • Proven ability to independently organize and prioritize work, to manage multiple projects, meet production standards, and maintain a flexible schedule.
