Job description

Based in Northern Virginia, Axiologic Solutions LLC, has an opportunity for you to become part of our high-quality team that delivers innovative solutions to key federal clients. We are currently seeking a Total Lifecycle Acquisition Expert to support our growing team.

ย Overall Assignment Description:

IPA requires an expert scientist for the AGS project. ย Specific duties to be performed by the contractor are listed below.

Duties include:

The Chief Scientist will provide day-to-day technical management of the Nonconventional

Exploitation Factors Data System (NEFDS) to include:

Translate existing requirements of users into epics, features, user stories and acceptance criteria based on an understanding of the different physical phenomenology's being exploited.

Collect and analyze ground truth data to determine the validity and accuracy of NEFDS and Radiance non-literal exploitation tools.

Participate in data analysis TEMs along with NRFDS and/or Radiance contractors and NGA scientists to determine the validity of laboratory collected material signatures and

spectral/atmospheric models.

Actively participate in Agile user engagement activities, including:

Release planning events.

Backlog grooming.

Sprint planning meetings.

Scrums.

Working software demos.

Acceptance criteria sign-off.

Interface with NEFDS and Radiance scientists (including the Radiance Chief Scientist) to support the development of novel concepts for new non-literal exploitation capabilities inspired by the introduction of new sensors, mission partner products, and new research from NGA scientists, the IC community, and the broader scientific community.

Prepare documentation required during the entire product development process including pre[1]solicitation (requirements documents, program briefing materials, white papers on new scientific concepts for non-literal exploitation tools) solicitation (RFP documents, source selection advisor reports), execution (Task orders, task order evaluation reports, scientific white papers, briefing packages, RFC documentation).

Required:

M.S. degree in physics, engineering, or remote-sensing, or equivalent work experience.

Experience in imaging and non-literal exploitation algorithms.

Experience in multi-spectral imaging (including hyper-spectral and polarimetric imaging) and spectral exploitation algorithms.

Experience in synthetic aperture radar (SAR) and Ground Moving Target Indicator (GMTI) processing radar exploitation algorithms.

Experience in developing algorithms for advanced geospatial-intelligence phenomenology's.

Experience using AGITK thick-client, AEIA widgets and services, and NEFDS.

Program Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.

Agile certifications (such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or SAFe Agilist certification) or equivalent experience.

Desired:

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Ph.D. in physics, engineering, or remote-sensing.

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Detailed understanding of how the National Technical Means (NTM), commercial, andย  airborne imagery flows work within the NSG architecture and how the data is exchangedย  from one segment to another.

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Understand the geospatial intelligence mission and its' contributions to the IC and DoD.

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Familiarity with NGA dissemination and storage systems, to include IDS-D, NGL, STIL, IPL,ย  ย and WARP

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Experience with the current NGA organizational structure, acquisition policies, and Configuration Management Process
