To thrive as a Remote 1099 Software Developer Contractor, you need strong programming skills, experience with software development lifecycles, and typically a background in computer science or related fields. These skills ensure you can produce high-quality work independently, meet client expectations, and succeed in a flexible, project-based environment.

What are the main challenges of working as a remote 1099 software developer contractor and how can they be managed?

As a Remote 1099 Software Developer Contractor, you may face challenges such as managing multiple clients, staying self-motivated without direct supervision, and handling inconsistent workloads. Building a reliable workflow and maintaining professional boundaries can help ensure long-term success in this flexible role.
