What does a remodeling project manager do?

A Remodeling Project Manager oversees renovation and remodeling projects from start to finish. They coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure the project stays on schedule and within budget. Their responsibilities include planning, budgeting, obtaining permits, scheduling work, and resolving any issues that arise during the remodeling process. They also ensure that the work meets quality standards and adheres to all relevant regulations and codes.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remodeling project manager?

To thrive as a Remodeling Project Manager, you need expertise in construction management, budgeting, scheduling, and a solid understanding of building codes, typically supported by relevant experience or a degree in construction or project management.
