Position Overview

Were hiring a Lead Mold Remediation Technician to manage residential and commercial projects from start to finish. This role is responsible for overseeing crews, ensuring jobsite safety, maintaining quality control, and being the primary on-site contact for customers. Youll also support emergency response calls for water, mold, and fire-related losses.
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and perform mold remediation, water damage restoration, and fire recovery tasks per written scopes
  • Supervise jobsite production, quality assurance, safety, and timelines
  • Maintain and manage company equipment, vehicles, and jobsite materials
  • Oversee crew performance, coach new technicians, and assist in hiring and training
  • Document projects thoroughly (photos, paperwork, reporting software)
  • Maintain clear communication with customers throughout the job
  • Respond to emergency calls, including after-hours and weekends (on-call rotation)
  • Coordinate inspections, permits, and customer walkthroughs
  • Ensure OSHA safety standards and PPE compliance on all job sites
  • Obtain customer satisfaction sign-offs and collect final payments
Qualifications

  • MRS (Mold Remediator License) or equivalent
  • 23 years of experience in mold remediation, water/fire restoration, or related trades
  • WRT and AMRT certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Proficient with mobile apps and job tracking software
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record
  • Able to lift 75 lbs, climb ladders, and work in full PPE
Safety Gear Provided

  • Full PPE, including N95 masks, Tyvek suits, gloves, goggles, and boots
  • Fall protection for elevated work
  • Ear and eye protection as needed
  • Tools and equipment provided and maintained
