Senior Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd Shift | Food Manufacturing | Relocation to Greater Boston
Full-Time in Boston, MA Area | $50.00/hr + Monthly Bonuses | Relocation Assistance Available
Join a thriving food manufacturing facility in the Greater Boston, Massachusetts area as a Senior Maintenance Mechanic on 2nd Shift. We're offering highly competitive pay, monthly performance bonuses, and FULL relocation support to bring top maintenance talent to our team.
If you're an experienced Maintenance Technician or Industrial Mechanic with a strong background in automation, electrical systems, and mechanical trouble-shooting-this is the career move you've been waiting for with Home Market Foods. *Plus, you'll receive an $8000.00 BONUS ($3k after six months, plus an additional $5k on your one-year anniversary!)
Shift Schedule
  • Unique to Home Market Foods is our 2-2-3 work schedule (2 days on, then 2 days off, then work 3 days, followed by the opposite the following week.) Hours will be 5:00p to 5:15a* this does not change.

What You'll Do
  • Troubleshoot and repair conveyor systems, robotics, motors, PLC-controlled equipment, and automated packaging lines
  • Perform advanced preventive and corrective maintenance in a food-grade manufacturing environment
  • Use CMMS software to manage repairs, document maintenance, and analyze trends
  • Mentor and support up-and-coming mechanics - sharing your skills, experience and best practices
  • Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics
  • Assist in new equipment installation and systems optimization
  • Optional welding and fabrication (MIG, TIG, Stick)

What You'll Bring
  • 7+ years of industrial maintenance experience in food or beverage manufacturing or pharma environment
  • Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, automation, PLC troubleshooting, VFDs, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP/cGMP)
  • Experience using CMMS software
  • MA Fireman 2 License and/or Ammonia Operator 1 Certification preferred
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid U.S. driver's license
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
