Job description

Gadsden Regional Medical Center is seeking a full-time Board Eligible/Board Certified Family Medicine Physician to join our Family Medicine Residency Program in Gadsden, Alabama as Core Faculty.

Position Highlights:
  • Practice and teach comprehensive family medicine, including newborn and pediatric care, adult medicine, and geriatrics.
  • Provide clinical supervision of residents in an outpatient clinic setting.
  • Provide clinical supervision in the inpatient hospital setting (1 week/4-5 weeks)
  • Participate in weekly didactic lectures, including procedural and clinical workshops.
  • Serve as a resident advisor, mentor, and role model
  • OB optional
  • Medical student teaching and supervision
  • Opportunities for supported volunteer international work
