MOET Law Group is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to support plaintiff-side personal injury litigation from filing through trial preparation. This in-person role in Irvine, CA is ideal for a detail-oriented litigation paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume law firm environment and has strong knowledge of California litigation procedures.
This position plays a critical role in supporting attorneys through discovery, calendaring, trial preparation, and case management while ensuring compliance with court rules and deadlines.
Salary Range: $60,000 $82,000 annually (DOE)
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist attorneys with all phases of personal injury litigation, from filing through trial
  • Draft and respond to written discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission
  • Prepare subpoenas, basic motions, and litigation correspondence
  • Manage legal calendaring and deadline calculations in compliance with CCP, CRC, and FRCP
  • Handle state and federal e-filing (ECF, OneLegal, and other court portals)
  • Request, track, review, and summarize medical records, bills, and treatment
  • Organize and maintain case files, pleadings, exhibits, and discovery materials
  • Coordinate service of process and monitor litigation timelines
  • Support trial preparation, including exhibit binders, witness lists, and trial notebooks
  • Communicate professionally with clients, defense counsel, experts, and medical providers
  • Assist with settlement demand packages, mediations, and arbitrations, as needed
Qualifications
  • Personal injury litigation experience required
  • Strong understanding of litigation procedures, timelines, and court rules
  • Experience with legal calendaring and deadline calculations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and document management systems
  • Experience with state and federal court e-filing systems
  • Ability to independently manage assigned litigation tasks with minimal supervision
  • Excellent writing, proofreading, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and prioritize effectively
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certificate from an ABA-accredited paralegal program
  • 2+ years of civil litigation experience (personal injury preferred)
  • Trial preparation experience, including trial binders, exhibit lists, and jury instructions
  • Experience supporting mediation and arbitration preparation
  • Familiarity with case management systems such as Casepeer, Clio, Litify, or similar
