Job Summary

Leonardo DRS is expanding and our HR Team in Cypress, CA is hiring an Associate Human Resources Coordinator to join their team.
Whether you have prior experience in Human Resources or are interested in a career in HR, this role offers the opportunity to learn and grow, while supporting our missions to space and beyond! 

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform administrative activities in support of the Human Resources organization.
  • Assist on assignments from various areas of Human Resources, such as recruiting, compensation, benefits, employee relations, training, etc.
  • Perform administrative or support tasks in functional area.
  • Research and resolve employee problems and questions.
  • Update and maintain the HRIS systems. 
  • Respond to outside queries from vendors, and companies verifying employment under the direction of HR management. 
  • Provide support to employee activities and programs
  • Perform a variety of routine activities in support of functional areas such as production operations, engineering, or human resources for a specific project, business or a technical unit
  • Gather, collect, record, track and verify data and information from multiple sources
  • Compile, review and analyze data
  • Use software for functional area, to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations
  • Design processes to enhance work flow
  • Provide data and information to others on functional unit processes and procedures
  • This position typically spends 70% of their time supporting the function
  • Good understanding of general job aspects and some understanding of the detailed aspects of the job
  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must be flexible and willing to move between projects and tasks quickly and as needed
  • Ability to work both as a team player and independently with limited instruction
  • Knowledge of office procedures and stong communiation skills
  • Experience in Human Resources is a plus
     

U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.

The salary range for this position is $21.44/hour-$29.48/hour.  This range reflects the good faith estimate of pay the employer is willing to offer at the time of posting. Several factors can influence the pay scale, including but not limited to: Federal contract labor categories and contract wage rates, collective bargaining agreements, geographic location, business considerations, scope, and responsibilities of the position, local or other applicable market conditions, and internal equity. Other factors include the candidate's qualifications such as prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education/training, and certifications. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for: annual performance-based bonuses, equity awards, and overtime pay (for non-exempt employees as applicable.
