You will work primarily onsite in our bustling outpatient clinical facility, which operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening or weekend shifts for special events or emergencies. Our clinic is designed to foster teamwork and collaboration, enabling you to interact daily with a variety of healthcare professionals including physicians, nurses, and support staff in a state-of-the-art facility equipped with the latest medical technology.

• Manage patient appointments and schedules using our electronic health records (EHR) system, ensuring timely and efficient patient flow.
• Prepare patients for examinations by accurately collecting and documenting comprehensive medical histories and vital signs, ensuring a smooth transition into the treatment process.
• Assist physicians during patient examinations and minor surgical procedures, demonstrating expertise in medical equipment usage while maintaining a sterile and organized workspace.
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens, meticulously following protocols for labeling and documentation to guarantee accuracy in diagnostic testing.
• Under the guidance of a physician, administer medications and vaccinations, ensuring that patient safety protocols are strictly adhered to.
• Conduct basic lab tests, including urinalysis and EKGs, and effectively interpret and document results to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.
• Provide education to patients regarding medication instructions and general healthcare information, enhancing patient understanding and compliance through effective communication.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in examination and treatment rooms, ensuring all medical supplies are adequately stocked and organized.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to facilitate patient care coordination, contributing to the development and implementation of treatment plans.

• Strong foundation in medical terminology, anatomy, and pharmacology.

• Previous experience in a clinical setting, particularly in outpatient or community health environments.

The compensation for the Medical Assistant position ranges from $60,000 to $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education.
