Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanical Maintenance Technician with a strong millwright background to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the optimal operation and longevity of our production machinery and equipment. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and install new machinery.


Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment according to established schedules.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
  • Repair and overhaul machinery components, including bearings, gears, motors, and hydraulic systems.
  • Install, modify, and relocate industrial machinery and equipment, following blueprints and engineering specifications.
  • Utilize welding, fabrication, and machining skills to repair or create machine parts.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance technicians and production personnel to optimize equipment performance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations and procedures.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and equipment reliability.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification preferred.
