The Maintenance Engineer Supervisor contributes to the success of the plant by providing leadership around ensuring the consistent, reliable and efficient operation of the manufacturing lines. This role oversees preventative and predictive maintenance programs and drives equipment uptime and supports the planning and execution of maintenance days, overhauls and rebuilds. In addition to Responsibilities including cost efficiency, continuous improvement on processes, service, and safety for an entire location. In this role, you will lead a team of Team Member employees within the facilities department.
Responsibilities
  • Safety & Compliance ensures all maintenance activities adhere to and meet, lock out tag out and regulatory standards
  • Facilitates team and line ownership associated with Plant Line Pair lead structure
  • Owns complete equipment lifecycle by overseeing preventative and predictive maintenance programs, down day, overhaul and rebuild execution. Leverages tools and technologies, vibration analysis, oil analysis to mitigate failures
  • Root cause analysis - Lead and coach teams in problem solving to prevent repeat failures
  • Coordinating with Maintenance Technicians within line pair leads to drive operational improvement
  • Partners with external OEMs for equipment life cycle compliance and reliability
  • Implement reliability strategies to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment
  • Ensure that production equipment is operated correctly and consistently, providing coaching to Manufacturing team members as needed
  • Coordinate with maintenance team members to execute reliability activities
  • Gather learnings and feedback from Maintenance Team Leader (Line owner) to optimize asset management for lines
  • Deploy strategies in reliability that build maintenance and technician capabilities
  • Utilize 5S & visual factory concepts to improve asset utilization and plant performance
  • Develop maintenance team to handle day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals
  • Deliver effectively change leadership while driving business changes and minimizing people impact
  • Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to assist team to solve operational issues
  • Motivate team members to achieve plan goals
  • This role requires regular presence on the plant floor, lifting to 40 lbs occasionally, may operate forklift and manufacturing equipment occasionally and occasional work in poor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or snow.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $66,900 - $111,950.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering or maintenance preferred
  • High Schoo Diploma required
  • Lean Six Sigma Experience preferred, demonstrated by successful completion of a major improvement project
  • 5+ years of operations maintenance in manufacturing experience required
  • 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred
  • 2+ years mechanical experience with maintaining equipment or machinery desired
  • Understanding of PLC programming preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications
  • Shown ability to excel in a results-oriented, challenging environment
  • This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Safe driving record strongly preferred
