Metallus Internship Program

Metallus Internship Includes:

Internship Assignment: Full Time - Summer 2027

  • Start date: 05/17/2027
  • Assist with equipment design changes

  • Creating and revising equipment drawings

  • Review funtional failures on equipment to determine root cause

  • Review preventitive maintenance tasks

  • Aid in job plan creation

  • Gain basic understanding of steel making process

Internship Qualifications:

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5

  • Must have completed 30 or more credit hours by the end of the spring 2027 semester

  • Must be a full-time student attending an accredited two-year or four-year college/university

  • Preferred majors: Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related

  • Familar with AutoCAD
