We'reย seeking aย Communicationย Representativeย to join our team! In this role,ย you'llย assistย with switchboard operations and manageย incoming calls, pages, and messages, ensuringย accurateย andย timelyย communication.ย 


Key Responsibilities & Skills:

  • Support switchboard operations by handling incoming calls, pages, and messages, ensuringย accurateย routing andย timelyย communication across the organizationย 

  • Prioritize and manage calls based on urgency while providing excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitorsย 

  • Monitor alarm systems (fire, medical, panic, gas, weather) and relay critical information toย appropriate emergencyย teamsย 

  • Coordinateย afterhoursย communication, relay messages toย oncallย staff, andย maintainย uptodateย contact lists andย oncallย schedulesย 

  • Arrange auxiliary communication services, including ASL and LEP interpreters, to support patient and visitor needsย 

  • Assistย with daily telecommunications operations, report issues, and support troubleshooting to minimize service disruptionsย 

  • Contribute to process improvement by communicating system inefficiencies andย maintainingย documentation, logs, and emergency communication recordsย 

  • Support emergency response efforts as needed, including participation in the Hospital Emergency Incident Command Systemย
