Job description

- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to the apprentice level crew members.
- Install conduit and or MC-HL type cable according to the NEC code.
- Sufficiently install and troubleshoot different relay's, VFD's, wireless or hard-wired instrumentation and controllers.
- Work on different process, compression and metering equipment used in the upstream and midstream sectors of the oilfield.
- Possess knowledge of installing electrical power, control, measurement and safety systems for the upstream and midstream sectors.
- Effectively generate and communicate detailed work records and paperwork.
- Ability to install, calibrate and troubleshoot instrumentation, EFM's, and Cell modems.
- Proficient in modifications and understanding electrical schematics and drawings.
- Demonstrates an understanding of electrical systems, switchgear, circuit types and able to troubleshoot any issues presented.
- Must possess the skill set to work on low voltage and medium voltage equipment and circuits.
- Understanding of most electrical components commonly found in the oil and gas industry.
- Possess the ability to install, wire and loop test PLC's, RTU's and EFM's.
- Ability to work safely and recognize potential hazards.
- Ability to handle pressure and possess positive leadership in difficult or challenging situations.
- Ability to calibrate and trouble shoot process Instrumentation.
- Must be a detail-oriented, results-driven individual with a commitment to quality, accuracy, with the ability to organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.
- Strong problem solving, technical, and functional skills with the ability to multi-task and be willing to learn.
- Must be able to work collaboratively and cooperatively, take direction, work well in a team environment, and interact with all levels of management, engineering, systems, operations and field personnel.
- Minimum of five (5) years of Instrumentation and electrical experience in the Industrial oil and gas sectors.
- Experienced in all phases of a project for the installation of Instrumentation and electrical systems and or equipment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Up to date on all the new codes and standards in NFPA 70E (NEC code book).
- Applicable regulatory safety training.
- Must reside within an hour of Oklahoma City.

- Handheld Electrical tools needed to perform his or her job duties.
- Laptop with software for configurations of EFM's, cell modems and radio networks.
- Applicants will need to be willing to work weekends and/or overtime when asked if deadlines need to be met or customer requests.
- Position will work primarily in the field. Subject to time pressures and constraints and is also dependent on input from others. Need to be fit for duty.
- Must have a valid driver's license and will need to meet the company's insurers driving policy requirements.
- Per diem will be compensated to defray expenses associated with traveling, meals and lodging in accordance with applicable law.
- Subject to a background check, as well as drug and alcohol testing, per applicable federal regulations.
