Job description

The Group Relationship Manager Associate leads RMAs in their designated markets and is focused on providing superior customer service while delivering high-level performance in support of the Relationship Managers and market leaders. While managing the overall RMA function where designated, this role will serve as an extension of the RM teams for sales opportunities and brand awareness.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Relationship Manager Associate team as designated and serve as a leader by providing support to the lending team including handling escalated questions and situations, complex loans and anticipating needs of the internal team and the client.
  • Prepare and review all account documentation related to deposits and loans, monitor the administration of the closing process.
  • Actively work to develop relationships across all Bank partners to identify cross-sell opportunities and referral business.
  • Must exhibit an advanced level of bank product knowledge.
  • Independently work with clients to address questions and issues and handled complex concerns when able or designated to appropriate RM or Bank partner.
  • Provide deposit support for clients including opening new accounts and general maintenance as needed.
  • Practice safe and sound business procedures, including adherence to applicable laws and regulations, internal controls, operational procedures, risk management policies and security protocols.
  • Cultivate an environment that supports diversity, teamwork, and performance. Provide leadership though communication, performance management, development and recognition of staff
  • Manage the team by hiring, coaching, training and providing direction to team members through feedback to support personal development and ongoing improvement
Education and/or Experience
  • High School diploma or GED
Bachelor's degree preferred or applicable work experience
5+ years' experience within commercial lending with a focus on origination
Familiar with banking regulations within the consumer and commercial environment
2+ years of experience in a leadership role

This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.
