Assistant General Manager - Valet Operations
Location: West Memphis, AR
Client Site: Southland Casino
Salary: $46,000 - $47,000 annually
Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for hospitality, guest experience, and team development? Park Inc. is seeking a high-energy, customer-focused Assistant General Manager to help oversee valet operations at Southland Casino, one of the region's premier entertainment destinations.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated operations leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys mentoring teams, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service. As Assistant General Manager, you'll work side-by-side with the General Manager to ensure smooth daily operations, strong client relationships, and an outstanding guest experience.
What You'll Do
Leadership & Team Development
  • Partner with the General Manager to recruit, train, and develop a high-performing valet team
  • Coach, mentor, and motivate employees to deliver top-tier customer service
  • Manage employee performance including training, coaching, counseling, retention, and employee relations
  • Assist with hiring and terminations as needed
  • Collaborate with Human Resources on recruiting and staffing needs

Operations & Client Relations
  • Maintain a strong working relationship with the client's designated site contact
  • Handle onsite communication with guests, client representatives, and management
  • Ensure compliance with all Park Inc. and client policies and procedures
  • Continuously review operations for efficiency and service improvements

Scheduling, Reporting & Oversight
  • Create, distribute, and clearly communicate employee schedules
  • Ensure all shifts are covered and staffing gaps are filled
  • Review daily, weekly, and monthly operational and timekeeping reports
  • Conduct routine audits and "mystery shop" assessments

Safety, Equipment & Risk Management
  • Train employees on job-site operations with a strong focus on safety and service
  • Enforce company policies and procedures consistently
  • Ensure all company equipment is properly maintained
  • Assist with property damage claims and incident documentation

  • Must be detailed oriented and able to make sound decisions withing assigned deadlines
  • Ability to work outdoors with exposure to extreme weather conditions
  • Must possess a valid drivers license at all times
  • Must have at least 3 years driving history with a good driving record
  • Must be able to drive a manual transmission (stick shift)
  • This is a 7 day operation and some days we provide service 24 hours
  • Must be willing and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time as well as jog/run on a consistent basis
