Job description

Responsibilities

Related Management Company (RMC) manages a nationwide and diverse portfolio of multifamily Housing developments. This role will service a specific residential portfolio that includes LIHTC, 80/20 properties, layered with workforce, and rent-stabilized units. The Yardi Affordable Administrator will oversee day-to-day Yardi Affordable support involving affordable housing compliance, new and acquired project set-up and maintenance, helpdesk issues, document management, and other matters as needed. In addition, the Yardi Affordable Specialist will provide RMC stakeholders with strategic insight, guidance, and risk awareness associated with the Yardi Affordable module. This role will report directly to the Yardi Affordable Administrator at RMC and work closely with the Related IT team.

Responsibilities:

  • Point of contact for Yardi Affordable Module, other Yardi products used by RMC and end-user questions to ensure they are addressed in a professional and timely manner.
  • Primary Yardi trainer and job aide creator. Troubleshoot and correct Yardi affordable functional/process issues.
  • Assist in Affordable system upgrades, implementations, integrations, and maintenance through validation and testing of proposed resolutions and releases.
  • Assist in onboarding acquired and new properties into the system working with inside Compliance teams, Asset Management and IT to ensure new properties are appropriately set-up.
  • Assist with research and testing new software versions, service packs, plugins, and customizations.
  • Communicate timely with Property Management, Compliance and Leasing teams the Affordable module business implications of upgrades and assist in training for those changes.
  • Keep current on all Yardi Affordable module feature updates and system changes to ensure the software is understood and utilized to the fullest capacity. Suggest improvements in work procedures.
  • Maintain a high level of communication with internal stakeholders.
    Communicate effectively with Yardi end users, Yardi customer representatives, and internal Related IT teams

Compensation:

The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible to receive discretionary bonus incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.

Anticipated base salary range: $90,000 - $95,000 + Discretionary Bonus 

Actual base salary within the anticipated range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and market factors.

Qualifications

  • Ability to perform ETLs, use YSR and basic to intermediate level SQL
  • Ability to speak effectively with diverse employee populations.
  • Ability to work with Yardi vendor representative and RMC staff to pro-actively ensure all RMC business needs are being met.
