Company Description ACT Test Panels LLC is a globally recognized leader in the manufacture of standard and custom test panel solutions. We offer an extensive range of test panel substrates and unique capabilities, including phosphate pretreatments, electrocoats, powder and liquid primers, base-clear paint systems, and topcoats from leading coating manufacturers. Customers may also supply their own pretreatment and paint materials, which ACT can apply and evaluate. ACT’s manufacturing facility is ISO 9001 and 17025 registered, and our material testing services are A2LA accredited, specializing in pretreatment and paint performance evaluations. ACT’s products and services meet major industry and automotive OEM standards, supporting clients across a broad spectrum of applications.

Role Description The Sales Associate is a full-time, on-site, hybrid available for very qualified candidates. This position is responsible for managing customer inquiries, preparing quotes, and supporting the sales process for test panel products and material testing services. Day-to-day tasks include communicating with new and existing customers, understanding technical requirements, coordinating with production and laboratory teams, and ensuring accurate order entry and documentation. The Sales Associate will help maintain customer relationships, follow up on leads, assist with account management, and contribute to sales reporting and forecasting. The role also involves learning ACT’s product offerings and industry standards to effectively present solutions that align with customer needs.

Qualifications

  • Customer service and sales support skills, including relationship building, active listening, and follow-up with prospects and existing clients.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly in both written and verbal formats.
  • Basic technical aptitude and willingness to learn about coatings, test panels, and relevant industry standards (ISO, ASTM, SAE, OEM requirements).
