Job description

Functioning within the Health System’s mission, values, objectives, procedures and policies, with the direction and supervision of the lead technologist and Director of Radiology, the Registered Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic services in radiology department, ER, surgery and portable exams. Practices radiation protection and assists physicians with imaging proceduresOn call response time required within 45 minutes. 
Education:Graduate of the AMA accredited Radiography Technology program or equivalent.
Licensure/Certification:  Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). Certified by the Ohio Department of Health.  BLS required.

Experience: Previousx-ray experience preferred.
Skills:Performs a variety of diagnostic radiology exams including, general xrays, fluoro exams and assist in surgery procedures. 
Good communication skills. 
Exhibits patience and tact in dealing with ill patients.
Works with speed and proficiency while under stress.
Must be cooperative with other associates and departments as needed.
Shows flexibility with work schedule changes.
Has a courteous and respectful demeanor with associates, physicians and patients.
