Job description

RN - Interventional Radiology

This is a 13-week contract position.

Rotating shifts from 7 AM to 4:30 PM, with varying schedules across four 9-hour shifts. Call shifts include 3 weekday call shifts and 1 weekend call shift per month.

The RN in Special Procedures will provide high-quality procedural care within the specialty area, ensuring patient safety and comfort during various procedures. The role also includes collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and adherence to protocols and guidelines.

  • Prepare patients for procedures and provide education regarding the process.
  • Administer medications and monitor vital signs throughout the procedure.
  • Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within specialty required.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) is mandatory.
  • Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also necessary.
