Job description

Job Summary

Provides and directs individualized care to patients through the use of the nursing process. Schedules & coordinates Interventional Procedures according to the PMD' orders.

Essential Functions:

  • Assists physician during procedures.

  • Does patient assessment and monitoring for procedures and also for post-care.

  • Provides post clinical patient reevaluations as per specific procedure.

  • Coordinates with other members of the healthcare team, the delivery of care for assigned patients.

  • Assist in scheduling Interventional Procedures.

  • Assists Physician during procedure.

  • Conducts patient education before test performs follow up when necessary.

  • Provides post clinical patient reevaluations as per specific procedure.

  • Inserts PICC lines and performs troubleshooting maintenance.

  • Act as a resource person to other healthcare personnel on radiology patient care issue.

Minimum Education/Certifications
Graduate of an accredited program in nursing.

Current Registered Nurse license to practice in the state of NJ.

Certifications required: BLS (American Heart Association)

Minimum Work Experience
One year Radiology experience preferred.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: Must be willing to work holidays, weekends and provide additional coverage as needed

The salary/hourly rate range for this position is: $55.00
