Job Description & Requirements

Responsibilities include: Operate MRI scanner which produces several cross-sectional scans and combines them into one to form a 3 -dimensional image for Radiologists viewing. Consistently obtain high quality imaging for Radiologist interpretation. General understanding of PACS (Picture Archive Communication System) and its function. Responsible for maintaining safety for anyone within the MRI zones. Documents patient care services in hospital records. Able to interact compassionately and effectively with the sick or injured. Supports and promotes the values and mission of the organization. Courteous interaction with co-workers/peers.Requirements:Education: Associate's Degree RequiredLicensure(s): ARRT certified Radiography & State of Maine RadiographyCertification(s): ARRT MRI certified preferredRegistration(s): ARRT Radiography Additional Information:***If traveler resides within 50 miles of the facility a $10/hr decrease will apply ***Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid ***St. Joseph's can cancel up to 3 shifts per 13 week contract
