Position Summary Information
Job Description Summary
The purpose of the position to assist department with daily office operations, enrollments, registration, and cashiering. This is accomplished by providing support to admissions and registration office by providing extensive customer service while registering students, creating course schedules and occasionally assisting with both regularly scheduled and special events.
Minimum Qualifications
One (1) year of advanced study or training past the high school diploma or GED equivalency AND one (1) year related experience in an office setting.

Two (2) years related experience in an office setting.
Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Strong customer service.
Ability to multitask.
Computer skills/data entry.
Keen ability for detail.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Colleague/Datatel.
Knowledge Ad Astra/Viking Scheduler.

Perform clerical duties such as supporting students with registration and completion of various forms, applications and procedures.
Research student holds, transfers, and/or drop students from continuing education classes.

Monitor instant enrollment; direct the correction of incomplete registrations; and serve as the contact person for troubleshooting technical problems relating to continuing education on line registration.

Answer the telephone, type correspondence and enter information on students, their payments or refunds, miscellaneous transactions, and maintain records of work performed.

Requisition office supplies and equipment.
Conduct inventories.
Perform preventive and/or routine maintenance of office equipment.

Assist with Business Office functions such as verifying third party documents, answering requests for information, schedule classes/events/activities for the building, mailing information and invoices, assisting with general time-keeping functions, and maintaining files and records.
