Job Title: Regional Sales Director

Work Location: Herndon, VA

Schedule: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a results-driven Regional Sales Director to join our team! The candidate will be responsible for advancing qualified opportunities through structured sales conversations, conducting discovery and converting assessments into revenue engagements. They will be responsible for the consultative sales process, ensure commercial discipline and drive revenue conversion. This position will report directly to the Vice President of Strategic Sales and will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company’s growth strategy.

  • Implement scalable sales development frameworks, including go-to-market strategies, sales methodologies, training programs, and supporting technology platforms (CRM, analytics, enablement tools).
  • Control meeting scope to maintain strategic focus and prevent unpaid consulting beyond agreed parameters.
  • Ensure appropriate executive and technical stakeholders attend findings presentations and decision-making meetings to drive alignment, accelerate approvals, and secure clear next steps.
  • Translate assessment findings into clear business outcomes and convert opportunities into contracted next steps, including kickoff engagements, proposal approvals, or monitoring start dates.
  • Represent the company with customers, partners, and at industry events, advisory boards, and conferences.
  • Maintain ownership of deal progression, negotiation, and close within the region.
  • Collaborate with leadership to refine positioning, pricing strategy, and go-to-market execution.
  • Mentor and develop the Business Development Manager, providing weekly coaching, performance feedback and accountability focused on portfolio.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required.
  • Eight or more (8+) years of experience in sales, business development, or growth roles within the IT industry. Knowledge of network solutions, telecommunications, IT services preferred.
  • Experience with OEM partners.
  • Must have knowledge with Juniper and/or Aruba hardware.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
  • Strong executive presence and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and cultivate collaboration at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment and manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines.
  • Ability to travel frequently both CONUS and OCONUS for customer visits, stakeholder and board meetings, and to network for new business partnerships.


Physical Requirements:

The work is performed in an office environment and is primarily sedentary in nature. The individual will be required to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time and alternate between different stationary positions. The individual must also be able to move about the office at times. This position requires the ability to communicate frequently. This position may occasionally require the ability to ascend stairs, reach, stoop, kneel, lift light to medium objects, view and operate a computer, keyboard, telephone, and other office equipment and to withstand moderate noise and temperatures.

This position does require travel between various customer sites, in addition to travel for network installations, customer meetings, and other government and/or contractual needs.
