Family-owned trucking company offering strong pay, drivers home nightly with most weekends off, and a team that has your back on and off the road.
The Regional CDL Driver is responsible for safely transporting general freight on local and regional routes using heavy trucks and trailers. This role requires strict adherence to safety regulations, efficient route planning, and effective communication with customers and operations teams. Occasional overnight stays may be necessary to fulfill delivery schedules. The driver reports directly to the Operations Supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy trucks and trailers on local and regional routes
  • Navigate routes efficiently and plan trips to meet delivery schedules
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and transportation regulations
  • Handle and secure cargo appropriately to prevent damage
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after trips
  • Manage delivery documentation and maintain accurate records
  • Engage professionally with customers to facilitate smooth deliveries
  • Monitor fuel levels and manage fuel usage effectively
  • Report accidents or incidents promptly to the Operations Supervisor
