Job description

Regional Asset Protection Manager – Dallas/Houston Area

Regional Asset Protection Manager (RAPM) is responsible for managing Asset Protection programs in 200-250+ locations. This includes providing oversight to companywide Asset Protection objectives and programs to ensure compliance and outcomes within your assigned span of control. The RAPM will achieve departmental and role-specific performance objectives by forging strong business partnerships with the Regional Managers and Group Vice Presidents from Operations; analyzing market trends through available reporting tools in order to create and implement market-specific shrink mitigation tactics, training, and loss investigations within your assigned span of control. This position will ensure the execution of Asset Protection strategies through monitoring established plans and key performance indicators. Additionally, the position will ensure adherence to safety awareness programs, communication, OSHA standards, and Hazmat programs.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for inventory reconciliation processes leadership – reducing shortage/overages of retail inventory and reducing company losses by executing asset protection programs, providing field training, and bringing complex reconciliation concerns to resolution.
  • Leads safety program oversight, execution, and education to create a safe working environment. Contribute to enterprise reduction in Worker’s Compensation Claims (frequency and severity).
  • Develops internal investigations with support of reporting tools and dispositions cases via defined interviewing processes. Provides subject matter expertise and serves as primary liaison with investigation stakeholders, including operations management, law enforcement, and other third parties.
  • Responsible for the physical security, inventory control, and protection processes in field locations. Execute policies and procedures to protect people, merchandise, and physical property against internal and external theft, unauthorized access, and unexpected events which would affect the conduct of business.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of supervisory management experience in retail asset protection/loss prevention with Multi-unit experience is required.
  • Travel required up to 50-75% to our retail stores and facilities.
  • Non-standard work hours can be but are not limited to, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.
  • Strong organizational, time management, problem-solving skills, customer service, communication, and presentation skills are essential.
  • Proven experience with MS Office, POS, and inventory systems required.
  • Must demonstrate strong analytical skills, auditing, financial acumen, considerable judgment, and authority to act.
  • Completion of Wicklander — Zulawski Advanced interviewing required; LPC, CFE, CPP preferred.

Pay Range $40,000.00 – $159,840.00 / year
