The Ohio State University College of Dentistry is seeking a Program Manager in the Pediatric Dentistry Division. This position is responsible for the operational leadership, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of multiple externally funded research and healthcare transformation initiatives. The position supports complex projects focused on oral health services research, Medicaid policy analysis, implementation science, healthcare quality improvement, population health, and healthcare delivery system transformation. The Program Manager is responsible for translating project goals into operational plans, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing project timelines and deliverables, facilitating stakeholder engagement, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting dissemination of funded activities.
The position works in close collaboration with Principal Investigator, co-investigators, statisticians, healthcare providers, state agencies, community organizations, and external partners. The Program Manager independently oversees project execution while ensuring successful completion of contractual, research, quality improvement, and funding requirements across multiple concurrent projects.
This position is supported by grant funding and is expected to continue for the duration of the funded project. Continued employment is contingent upon the availability of funding, program needs, and satisfactory job performance.

Experience and Education:
Required: Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Public Administration, Health Services Research, Epidemiology, Implementation Science, Clinical Research Management, Healthcare Quality, or related field or equivalent experience, and 6 years of progressively responsible experience in program management, research administration, healthcare quality improvement, implementation science, public health, or healthcare operations.
Desired: Advanced degree in relevant field and 8-12 years of relevant experience including Institute for Healthcare Improvement training; experience with NIH, CDC, HRSA, AHRQ, CMS, Medicaid, or state-funded projects; experience with mixed-methods research and implementation science; knowledge of IRB, HIPAA, and regulatory compliance requirements; and experience supervising project personnel.
