Job Overview:



We are looking for a Trailer Service Technician to operate our company trucks to deliver, set up, service and pick up various types of equipment. Including restroom trailers of various sizes. Our Trailer Technicians also refurbish equipment, including plumbing, carpentry, flooring, HVAC, and other tasks as required.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Perform basic service truck driving functions in accordance with RTG and DOT requirements.
  • Perform all work duties in a safe manner in accordance with RTG and DOT safety standards to ensure no accidents or injuries.
  • Perform duties by sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling. In addition, perform lifting/pushing between 50 and 150 lbs. on a frequent basis during work shift.
  • Conduct portable toilets servicing to RTG service standard.
  • Perform customer service interaction when on customer work sites to ensure they are getting the services completed to their standard.
  • Ability to be flexible in order to meet customer needs when routes need to be adjusted or changed.
  • Refurbish, remodel and replace items as needed in restroom trailers, shower trailers, bunk and laundry trailers, campers and other equipment as required.
  • Provide routing and service feedback to Manager to be most efficient as well as giving the customer the best service possible.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • HS Diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 1-year general vehicle driving experience.
  • Valid Driver License positions for non-commercial, CDL Class A, CDL Class B.

 Work Location:   This position will be based at our headquarters in Canandaigua, NY, 14424 and is not a remote position.
