This role offers a fully remote work setting, allowing for a flexible schedule that fits your needs. You'll work in an outpatient office environment virtually, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals who share a commitment to excellence in patient care and collaborative treatment planning. Our practice utilizes the latest technology to facilitate smooth communication and patient engagement.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to understand diverse client concerns and collaboratively create tailored treatment plans.
• Facilitate regular one-on-one therapy sessions, employing evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness strategies to empower clients.
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support to clients experiencing acute distress, ensuring their safety and continual wellbeing.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals to deliver a holistic therapeutic approach that encompasses various treatment modalities and support systems.
• Participate in ongoing training and development activities to stay current with the latest advancements in mental health counseling.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client documentation in compliance with ethical and legal regulations, utilizing electronic medical records systems.
• Contribute to organizational program development, bringing innovative ideas to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
• Monitor client progress and engage in regular supervision to refine therapeutic techniques and ensure optimal outcomes.

Your work will involve interacting with a diverse array of clients, including individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and other emotional hardships. You will help them navigate their unique circumstances, providing tailored strategies and support to foster resilience and promote mental health recovery.

• A Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as an LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state of California.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience providing mental health counseling preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport quickly and effectively with clients.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated cultural competence and an understanding of the impact of diversity on mental health care.

The annual salary for this full-time licensed mental health counselor position ranges from $115,000 to $130,000, reflecting your experience and qualifications. In addition, you will receive a monthly healthcare stipend, which can be utilized for comprehensive health coverage, and complimentary access to our counseling services as long as you are an active member of our team.
