THE WORK:
• You'll execute daily transportation and product movement schedules for fuels, crude oil, natural gas liquids, refined products, ethanol, or other bulk liquid commodities.
• You'll submit, update, and monitor pipeline nominations within applicable scheduling cycles and operating deadlines.
• You'll coordinate scheduled movements across pipelines, rail, terminals, refineries, storage facilities, and limited truck operations.
• You'll monitor inventory positions, planned receipts, deliveries, and operational constraints that could affect supply continuity.
• You'll compare scheduled activity with actual product movements and help resolve volume, timing, or location discrepancies.
• You'll communicate schedule changes and operating issues to traders, optimizers, terminals, carriers, and other stakeholders.
• You'll support responses to pipeline interruptions, terminal constraints, inventory shortages, late deliveries, and other operational exceptions.
• You'll maintain accurate scheduling records, confirmations, movement documentation, and system updates.
• You'll follow applicable commercial agreements, transportation requirements, regulatory obligations, operating procedures, and internal controls.
• You'll escalate material risks or unresolved issues to senior schedulers and commercial stakeholders.
• You'll identify recurring scheduling problems and recommend practical improvements to day-to-day workflows.
• You'll participate in coverage planning and knowledge-sharing activities across the scheduling team.
Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.
Expected duration: 12 months, with potential extension to 18 months.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
• 3 to 5 years of experience in transportation scheduling, energy logistics, terminal operations, supply coordination, inventory planning, or a related operational function
• Experience supporting bulk liquids, refining, fuels, chemicals, pipelines, rail transportation, or comparable industrial supply chain operations
• Familiarity with scheduling deadlines, transportation nominations, inventory monitoring, and operational issue resolution and ability to manage multiple time-sensitive activities in a changing operational environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate transactional and operational records
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving capabilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work on-site in Houston and support standard U.S. Central Time business hours
BONUS POINTS TO HAVE:
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, engineering, business, economics, or a related discipline. Relevant professional experience may be considered in place of a degree
• Direct scheduling experience involving fuels, crude oil, NGLs, refined products, ethanol, or petrochemicals
• Experience working with pipeline nomination systems, terminal systems, or other transportation scheduling platform
• Familiarity with SAP Trader's and Scheduler's Workbench (TSW)
• Experience supporting traders, commercial teams, supply optimizers, or refinery planning organization
• Previous experience with the end client or another large integrated energy company
• Understanding of regulated pipeline scheduling windows and transportation contract requirements.
$100,000 - $115,000 a year
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
