Job description

E-logic is hiring a Data Architect to design robust, modern data structures that reconcile and map diverse insurance carrier data into a centralized, cloud-based analytics ecosystem for the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), Office of Inspector General (OIG). This role will be hybrid in Washington DC area, as needed.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and update logical, physical, and dimensional data models for the Integrated Data Warehouse (IDW) and data lake architectures.
  • Establish standard data layouts, naming conventions, and data dictionaries to map incoming medical, pharmaceutical, and enrollment files from major insurance carriers.
  • Build specialized data models to support fraud, waste, and abuse analytics, including the integration of Graph databases and Geospatial/GIS systems.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of data modeling experience, explicitly addressing the data requirements of auditors and investigators.
  • Deep understanding of FEHBP data structures, elements, and terminology (procedure codes, diagnostic codes, and payment processing rules).
  • Expertise in relational, dimensional, and graph data modeling. Proficiency with AWS cloud data environments (Redshift, PostgreSQL).
