We're looking for a highly organized, tech-savvy, and proactive litigation paralegal to join Reddit's Legal team. In this role, you will be the primary paralegal and operational lead supporting Reddit's Employment, IP, and General Litigation teams. This role is ideal for someone who is equally comfortable handling day-to-day matter support and scaling systems to make a growing litigation function run better. You should be excited to own core litigation support workflows, improve processes, manage discovery and preservation work-streams, and help Reddit use legal technology and AI thoughtfully to increase efficiency.
Location: Hybrid. This role is remote; however, the successful candidate must be able to work from our San Francisco office approximately once a week.
What You'll Do:
  • Serve as the lead paralegal supporting Reddit's employment, IP, and general litigation dockets.
  • Own core case support workflows, including matter intake, trackers, calendaring, document management, deadline tracking, and matter closeout.
  • Coordinate with outside counsel on filings, discovery, document collection and production, invoices, and day-to-day matter administration.
  • Own and manage Reddit's legal hold and preservation process, including drafting legal hold notices, issuing and tracking legal holds, and managing preservation activities within various systems to ensure the preservation of potentially relevant information.
  • Lead and assist with e-discovery matters, including initiating and managing data collections and ingestions, coordinating review workflows, supporting document review through internal investigations, and strategizing and evaluating AI-enabled e-discovery tools and workflows to optimize document review, quality control, and overall case management.
  • Improve and scale the team's processes, playbooks, metrics, and workflows, including through the thoughtful use of AI and other legal tech tools, identifying opportunities to automate repeatable workflows, reduce manual work, and strengthen quality control.
  • Evaluate, pilot, and implement legal technology and AI tools that improve litigation support, discovery readiness, matter management, and knowledge sharing.
  • Track and automate project and team metrics for ongoing analysis and reporting.

What We're Looking For:
  • 5+ years of paralegal experience supporting litigation teams, with strong preference for in-house experience in a fast-paced environment with the ability to operate independently, move quickly, and solve problems.
  • Strong command of litigation operations, including intake and tracking, calendaring, document management, outside counsel coordination, document preservation, and e-discovery.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with various e-discovery tools and systems, with a strong preference for experience with Google Suite, Slack, and DISCO.
  • Excellent judgment, attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities across a diverse and active docket.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and a practical, adaptable, service-oriented approach with the ability to effectively partner with various stakeholders across Legal, Security, IT, and other business teams.
  • Technological adaptability and an interest in being an early adopter of new software and testing and implementing AI tools to improve efficiencies and automate routine tasks.
  • Comfortable handling chaos with the ability to thrive in a remote-first team environment.
  • You love Reddit!
